A Poem

Hi everyone. This is a poem I wrote for school, but I thought it would be fun to post it here.

"The Race"

I'm in a race that's set by God

and at the start He gave a nod

"I will be there at every leap

"My faithfullness is what will keep

"you sure and safe from all the fears

"that try to haunt you far and near"

The race seems long the heat to hard

But I must always keep my guard

and flower fragrance call out to me

to take a rest beneath a tree

my step will quicken with His strength

To fight the good fight till the end
